Niklāvs Paegle is an architect and academic, co-founder of the ĒTER architecture studio. In addition to his practice, he has taught architecture at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and has been a guest critic at several universities. Special mention should be made of such projects as the Baltic Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, the Mui Ho Art Library at Cornell University in New York, the Latvian Pavilion at the Dubai EXPO – “Connecting the Minds, Creating a Breathable Future”, and the LMAA initiative to establish a new school of architecture at the Latvian Academy of Arts. Niklāvs has a degree in architecture from the School of Architecture in London, is a member of the British Royal Institute of Architects and the Latvian Union of Architects.
