In response to Philips’ challenge from the 2024 Student Service Design Challenge, our international team of master’s students developed Co-Doc, an AI-driven platform aimed at transforming patient-doctor interactions in Latvia. With only 6100 family doctors serving 1.8 million citizens, the healthcare system faces significant strain, leading to rushed and impersonal patient care. Co-Doc addresses these challenges through three core solutions: workflow automation, predictive analytics for early disease detection, and a collaborative doctor network. By automating administrative tasks such as scheduling and follow-ups, we give doctors more time to focus on personalized patient care. The AI predictive analytics feature enables proactive care by identifying disease patterns early, while the doctor network fosters professional collaboration. Our solution aligns with the competition’s goal of providing people-centric, sustainable, and technology-enabled healthcare solutions, making it an impactful tool for transforming fragmented healthcare experiences.
