Brief description of the project

Motor Synth MKII is an innovative musical instrument – a four-voice synthesizer that uses a system of eight electric motors as its main sound source. The instrument is based on an efficient, high-precision motor control unit that uses drone motors to create music. The turning speeds of the electric motors are controlled with such a high precision that they can perform complex musical pieces. Then the sound signal is processed using classic sound processing methods which makes the Motor Synth MKII a full-fledged, versatile electronic music instrument.
