Brief description of the project

During online research into Latvian folk costumes, the author was captivated by the digital flow of images on their screen, prompting a creative exploration of folklore within a contemporary context. Employing green screen technology, a film was crafted featuring a young woman adorned in a digital dress. This garment undergoes constant transformation, mirroring the ever-shifting content of the internet and the pervasive din of social media—an entanglement both distracting and addictively difficult to disengage from. Interspersed within this digital tapestry are glimpses of Latvian folk costumes, offering viewers an invitation to perceive cultural heritage not as a relic of the past, but as an integral part of today's rapidly evolving digital landscape.
